About the Role:
As an Asbestos Removalist at TechClean, you’ll be part of a skilled team delivering residential, commercial, and industrial projects. You’ll work safely and efficiently to remove asbestos and other hazardous materials, supporting essential remediation and restoration work across New Zealand. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who takes pride in doing high-quality work and values safety above all else.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out asbestos removal and decontamination works safely, following all regulations and company procedures
- Operate PPE and containment systems correctly, maintaining strict adherence to health & safety protocols
- Assist supervisors and project managers with daily site operations and project documentation
- Work effectively within residential, commercial, and industrial environments
- Maintain a tidy, compliant, and professional work area at all times
- Support continuous improvement and team collaboration on every project
About You:
- Class A or B Asbestos Worker licence preferred (training available for the right candidate)
- Strong commitment to health & safety and quality workmanship
- Reliable, hardworking, and a great team player
- Physically fit and capable of hands-on work in challenging environments
- Willingness to learn and grow within the company
- Bonus: experience in restoration, construction, demolition, or specialist cleaning
